Pseudo-intellectual Musings. This blog contains the author's musings on society, culture and tech, along with the odd foodspot review, just to lower the tone and keep her strength up. |

On the other hand, now and then, you meet other people whose generosity of spirit stuns you, so it all evens out in the end, I guess. Glad you liked the story! posted by: Ladyg (reply) post date: 12.20.08 (1:31 am) Reply to: pretensions, So true P. it's like they say, it takes all kinds to make the world. posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 12.20.08 (7:58 am) Nice Christmas story. We can never have too many reminders about the true meaning of this season. I have come to the conclusion that you cannot change anybody else (they can only change themselves), but you can control yourself. I try to keep Christmas my own way with my own traditions and enjoy it the best I can with family and friends. That seems to help make it work for me. Merry Christmas!!! posted by: alaskawildflowers (reply) post date: 12.20.08 (3:04 pm) It's hard when someone nit-picks your gift. I guess you could have dropped the extra change from the $10 into the bottom of the cup had you known that that person would be so particular. I loved the reggie story. posted by: pretensions (reply) post date: 12.20.08 (6:20 pm) Reply to: OldSchool Too true OS, shdn't let one person upset me. Merry X'mas and please keep blogging! posted by: pretensions (reply) post date: 12.20.08 (6:22 pm) Reply to: alaskawildflowers You can bet that by the end of that exchange I wanted to throw it at her!
